The Rangers couldn’t get their bats bopping last night as the Cardinals and pitcher Chris Carpenter shut them down. Where was George Bush Jr. last night when the Rangers needed him? Probably out on his horse on his ranch down in Texas. C.J. Wilson did a good job for Texas on the mound but didn’t get the help he much needed from his offense that he was used to. The big moment came when Nelson Cruz couldn’t contain a ball that was hit down the right field line by the Cardinal’s Craig, but more importantly the Rangers need to stay out of the St. Louis bars and get their butt back in the cage.
Tonight we find ourselves with a Colby Lewis versus Jaime Garcia. No its not Roger Clemens and Curt Schilling, but it is going to be an exciting game on FOX at 7:00PM. Game #2 will be a blowout in my opinion, bit which team will win? If the Rangers can’t get this one, its going to be a tough road to beat St. Louis 4 games out of the 5 to follow. A must win for Texas tonight.
