2011 World Series Game #4 and #5

Well the Texas Ranger pitching showed up big time as Derek Holland threw a 2 hit shutout against the St. Louis Cardinals. The series is tied at 2 games a piece for the first time since 2003, it also is the first series game that a team didn’t score a run since my White Sox blanked the Houston Astros in game #4 of the series in 2005.

St. Louis has decided to take a breather with early practice today in Dallas to give their brains a little down time. Manager Tony Larussa took some players on a bus this morning To Dealy Plaza to see where Kennedy was murdered. They also went over to the Dallas Cowboy training facility to see how the football players go through drills, and visit with some cheer leaders. We all hope that they make it back to the ballpark at Arlington on time for tonight’s game. The Rangers went ahead and booked their hotel reservations for the for sure game #6 and possible game #7.

Tonight we have C.J. Lewis taking the mound for the Rangers and the remarkable Chris Carpenter for the Cardinals. I am thinking this one will be another pitcher’s dual. Check out the fun on FOX at 7:00PM CST.
