What an amazing game! Just when the Cardinals had their tails against the arch twice they come back and win it in the first extra inning World Series game since 2005.
I have to hand it to David Freese who made a crucial error that allowed Texas to take the lead, he comes back and wins it with a triple and a homer. Granted here was a lot of bad pitching and defense throughout the contest on both sides of the field, but an exciting finish to an excellent post season is on tap for tonight in St. Louis.
Game #7 of the World Series is going to be a good one. Will it match the game #6 in exciting moments? Probably not, these things tend to have a letdown at the end, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some twists. Tony Larussa is bringing back Chris Carpenter to take the ball once again, which favors St. Louis in my opinion, but don’t count out Matt Harrison who now has his teams championship hopes on his shoulders.
Game #7 is tonight on FOX at 7:00PM CST. I love this game, and so should you.
