10-9-12 ALDS & NLDS Games

Yesterday afternoon the Cardinals were flying high as they bombarded the Nationals with home runs, I think a few went over the arch. It must of been a holiday because Matt Holiday was the only St. Louis starter without a hit. I was so bored with this game that my buddy Tony and I started up some games of MLB The Show on the PS3. Yes we missed some action, but it was more entertaining especially when a fan fell out of the stands onto the field trying to get a rolling foul ball. Back to reality, the Cardinals have tied up their series against Washington and have the day off before game 3 starts tomorrow in D.C.

The Yankees at Orioles night game brought a little delay to the start of the game, but it gave our buddy Ron a couple extra minutes to make it over and watch some acrobatics. Ichiro Suzuki did an amazing ninja move jumping over catcher Matt Wieters to score New Yorks first run of the game. But with a hot Chris Davis in the lineup for Baltimore, the O’s climbed back to win this game which included no homers by either team. Well pitched game 2 by Chen, and his Yankee counterpart Andy Pettitte, but the Yankee pitcher must of needed another injection of steroids to finish off the O’s but it didn’t work. Yet another series tied at one apiece and headed back to New York tomorrow. I think that was Jim Palmer’s underpants the crowd was waving in the ninth inning.

Today we have San Francisco and Oakland in must win games. The bay area teams are on the verge of going 0 for California and being knocked out early. Let’s watch some baseball.
