Can the Rockies get their game in tonight? It will cold in Denver once again. Last night’s game was postponed due to weather conditions, so the Rockies and Phillies will get it on tonight. Look for a Colorado win.
The Cardinals bus driver Tony LaRussa fell asleep at the wheel at a stop light once again, as St. Louis looked as bad as the Cubs did last year. Three and out is no way to cap off a stellar season with pick ups as the likes of Holiday, Smoltz and DeRosa. Joe Torre wonders if his Dodgers will take him back to the Bronx for a reunion with the Yankees.
Speaking about the Yankees. Could the Metrodome bring the Twins some magic tonight in Minneapolis. The answer is no, say good-bye to the TwinkieDome. This Twins team is tired. If I had to root for White Sox players Orlando Cabrerra or Nick “pie in the face” Swisher, I’ll go for the right fielder over “OCAB”. Go Yankees!
Now that brings me to today’s Game Of The Day between the home town Red Sox, trying to comeback from a 2 game deficit against the L.A. Angels. I believe with the Red Sox middle of the order going 2 for 23 in the first two games, that this one is going to go to the Halos today. I would like to actually see a L.A-L.A World Series. Go Cactus League!
So far we have a 0 to 0 score in the bottom of 2nd inning.
Stay away from the football today and spend some time with boys of summer. Their giving us one last bit of sunshine before this winter hits long and hard, unless your in Colorado.
