ALCS Game #2

Now if the sun could only shine for the Angels in New York like it did for the Dodgers in Los Angeles yesterday. Again I must say, what fabulous playoff games 2009 has brought the baseball fan.
The Dodgers Andre Eithier took a walk with two outs in the eighth inning last night with the bases loaded, and in came the go ahead and eventually the winning run. Both starting pitchers were real focussed and Pedro Martinez pitched a gem. But, the will of Vincente Padilla kept Los Angeles and its fans in this game. That’s why you have to play it out.
C.C. Sabathia’s first name must be “cold climate”. The Yankees handed the Angels a loss last night in the Bronx, but look to rebound tonight with an old fashion game of running bases. I like the Angels chance tonight to tie this series up. I have them winning the ALCS in 6 games.
What story lines this World Series could have. Joe Torre and Don Mattingly return to the Big Apple with a team that used to be from Brooklyn. Imagine the old Dodger fans of New York cheering on their team at the new Yankee Stadium.
Maybe a L.A vs. L.A. series? Which I would like to see. Even the Phillies going to dance trying to repeat. Either way, I like what I’m watching and I hope you do too.
Today’s Game Of The Day is of course the Angels at Yankees
tonight on FOX. Go Angels!
