NLCS & ALCS MLB PLAYOFFS

I couldn’t of expected a tighter, more fantastic game, except for the Angels not winning.

Last night’s ALCS was a the toughest of all losses this year for the L.A. Angels. In a game that lasted 5 hours through 13 innings, 30 degree temperatures and rain, it was over in a New York minute. Jerry Hairston scored the winning run on what will possibly be an end to the Angels magical season. Not even Walt Disney could dream up a 4 wins in 5 games comeback against the mighty Yankees. Could Alex Rodriguez
really be better off the steroids? Seriously, as much as I had hoped the Angels would go to the World Series, I now think it is impossible. It just seemed that they could run themselves into a win last night, which they tried, but luck and mother nature are not on their side. Maybe Mickey Mouse can wave his magic wand in Anaheim on Monday afternoon.

Now for a change of scenery. The Dodgers will be out playing in front of Joe the plumber and Julie the housewife tonight in Philadelphia instead of Kobe Bryant and Tom Arnold.

I like the Phillies tonight, but the Dodgers in the series. Look for Ryan Howard to make cheese steak out of Manny Ramirez tonight. I see the bats swinging early on both sides, but the Philadelphia crowd to put an October scare into the cuddly L.A. players.

Today’s Game of the Day is of course The Dodgers at Phillies on TBS. Game #3 is a big one, but not as big as game #5 next week. Happy Sunday.
