MLB Playoffs & ALCS

Maybe I should just stop picking the winner of each game of the playoffs. They are so close and tight, that it seems like all 4 teams should go to the dance. They should have the Angels/Yankees vs. Phillies/Dodgers rosters. Or possibly an east coast vs. west coast World Series. Seriously, both games yesterday were better than all games played this year. How exciting it was to watch intense baseball for 7 hours straight?
The Dodgers have a headache to deal with now bigger than the Liberty Bell. How Broxton blew that ninth inning is still making me rub my eyes. He walks Matt Stairs, whose lucky to be in baseball at this point, and nails Ruiz, and gives up the big hit to Jimmy Rollins. The Phillies don’t quit, that’s for sure. Benjamin Franklin would be proud. A friend of mine said yesterday that the Phillies are the only team that could beat the New York Yankees in a World Series. I’m starting to think he’s right on. As much as I want the Dodgers to comeback and win 3 games straight, its most likely not going to happen-unless they bring back Steve Garvey and Ron Cey. Hmmm..
How about that? The L.A. Angels fought back this time to beat Yankees in 11 innings yesterday afternoon in Los Angeles. Sitting behind the plate was Pat Sajak of Wheel Of Fortune fame. Down the row was Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. I knew the stars would come out in Anaheim, but who thought it would be Howie Kendrick coming out on top with a win. I did. Tonight ‘s game may need a little more punch from the Angels if they want to beat Sabathia. Maybe a Sylvester Stallone or Hulk Hogan can be in attendance.
Today’s Game Of The Day is The Angels hosting the Yankees tonight on FOX. Scott Kazmir takes the mound for the halos.
