MLB ALCS Playoffs

Do You Believe In Comebacks? Well there was a few of them last night with the Angels getting the last laugh. If they can win two games straight back in New York on Saturday and Sunday, they’ll will have made an incredible comeback against the Yankees and will be going to the dance.

“Halt, who goes there”, says Joe Girardi. The Yankees have a the edge easily here, playing at home in front of their fans. Don’t expect miracles from the Angels, but if they win on Saturday night, look out. I wouldn’t be surprised if this thing goes seven games.

Last night was just a see-saw battle. Just when you thought the Angels had it wrapped up in the seventh inning, here comes Mr. October 2009 Alex Rodriguez coming through and taking command of the game. Torii Hunter wouldn’t let his Angels sit idle. They came back in grand fashion sending the southern Los Angeles fans into a frenzy.

Biggest joke and goat has to be Nick Swisher. What a tool this guy is folks. He gets the benefit of hitting in a Yankee line-up of stars, which gives him some higher numbers with homers and RBI’s, but that average is the same. It’s the same Nick Swisher who sucked last year with the White Sox and spent most of September and October sitting on the bench. “The Swish” should spend less time making his shaving cream pies and more time in the batting cage. i wouldn’t be so hard on this guy if I didn’t know what a ham he is to begin with.

There is no baseball games on today as the Phillies await the winner of the ALCS.

So Today’s game of the Day is going to be the Price Is Right at 10:00 AM on CBS. I hope someone plays Plinko.
